Established in July 2019 by Rosie Mawer and partner Lewis Pheby, Slow Rise started as a mobile catering business operating in and around Lincoln.

'After only 8 months of trading and just beginning to find their feet in the industry, the first COVID lockdown hit, cancelling all up and coming bookings.

It was at this point that the pizza pair decided not to give up - but to adapt! 
Slow Rise instead became a takeaway and delivery service running from their back garden. Kitted with a marquee, two small portable pizza ovens & a dedicated team of family and friends, Slow Rise quickly grew in popularity as one of Lincoln's favourite pizza places!

Soon after Lockdown, it had become apparent that Slow Rise had outgrown the back garden kitchen, and within just one year of trading, Slow Rise secured its very first premises in July 2020!'
